Mary Pat Akers (Communications & Marketing) holds a degree in journalism and has spent 10 years in the marketing and communications departments of the international architectural firms of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Swanke Hayden Connell. She holds a Master’s degree in architectural history and criticism from Parson’s School of Design and has been published in American and British architectural journals on subjects as varied as the history of the Carnegie Library movement and the renovation of Mass MOCA.
